PostalChanges.com (“PostalChanges”), together with our affiliates and licensees, (collectively, "we," "us," or "our,") operate www.PostalChanges.com (the "Site") whereby we offer certain services, including, but not limited to our Address Change service (our "Services"). Any use of this website is subject to the following Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"), which sets forth the terms and conditions that apply to your access and use of the Site and the terms and conditions under which we provide our Services. By using or accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions of this User Agreement. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions of this User Agreement, you may not access, visit and/or use the Service. The User Agreement may be modified from time to time.. It remains the User’s responsibility to access and check these terms and conditions whenever you access the Site. The latest version of these terms and conditions will govern any future usage by you of the Site.
PostalChanges.com is operated by a private company which is not a government website, nor is it affiliated with, endorsed, or approved by the USPS® or any government agency. PostalChanges.com offers a membership based service that specializes in providing assistance with your address change and moving needs. We help streamline the address change process by submitting your address change request with the USPS®, guiding or helping you complete forms for various other government agencies, and provide many other ancillary benefits helpful for new movers which are detailed on our benefits page. Our services include experienced and helpful support, available by phone and e-mail. The membership fee we charge is in exchange for the services and benefits we provide relating but not limited to address change requests. The USPS® service for changing your address can be filed for $1.05 online at usps.com® or for free at a local post office if you prefer to file your own. Fees for address change services at various other state and government agencies vary, although many are free.
We reserve the right to investigate any and all suspected violations of these Terms of Use and to take any and all necessary or appropriate actions to remedy such violations, as we may determine in our sole discretion.
For information about PostalChanges.com's data protection and privacy practices, please read PostalChanges.com's Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
SERVICES
PostalChanges.com's Services may include, but aren't limited to:
· Filing an official USPS® address change request with the United States Postal Service on behalf of the user and assistance with completing address change forms for other government agencies
· Offering online and telephone support regarding questions about the change of address process
· Maintaining ‘permanent address changes’ for longer than the standard duration which the USPS® offers
· Offering guides, checklist, coupons, offers, and other materials which new movers might find useful
· Transmitting opt-in or opt-out requests to third parties on behalf of Users indicating an interest to learn more about applicable services or products
ACTIVATION OF AN ACCOUNT & Address Change Requests
In order to use the services provided, users must create and activate a PostalChanges.com account which is done by submitting a change of address request using our site. An account with PostalChanges.com lasts for the duration of your address change or a minimum of 90 days, whichever is longer, from the date of activation.
Once an account has been created, users must properly complete and submit the address change request consistent with the form requirements of the USPS®. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all information submitted is accurate, complete and consistent with the online address change form requirements of the USPS®. PostalChanges.com will attempt to process an address change request using the exact information provided by the user. If an address change request is made to this service with incorrect, inconsistent or incomplete information, PostalChanges.com reserves the right to make necessary adjustments when reasonable, or to entirely refrain from completing the request. We assume no responsibility or liability for incorrect, inconsistent or incomplete address change requests resulting from a User’s errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. When applicable, we will make our best efforts to reach out to the customer to rectify any uncompleted requests.
Once the user has submitted the information through our system, PostalChanges.com will immediately attempt to complete their request. Once the address change request has been finalized and confirmed, any and all issues arising from the request to the USPS® are no longer the responsibility of PostalChanges.com. For address change request to other government agencies, the user will be required to further complete and submit additional forms in order for their request to be complete. PostalChanges.com does not submit any requests on the user’s behalf beyond the USPS®.
Individual address changes are intended when only one person is moving from that address. The change of address will be applicable for only that person and no others; if you receive mail by more than one name (such as a maiden name, married name, nickname, etc.) you will have to file additional address changes to have that mail forwarded. Family address changes are intended when entire households are moving to the same address and everyone has the same last name. Our change of address services may not be available for all address including certain PO boxes, mobile homes, individuals trying to forward personal mail at a business address, among others.
Activation of a PostalChanges.com account does not guarantee nor does it confirm that a change of address request has been successfully placed with the USPS® or other government agencies. The address change confirmation email from PostalChanges.com only confirms we’ve successfully received your request, are attempting to process your request with the USPS®, and gives you access to our additional services and benefits.
A change of address is deemed to begin on the 'start forwarding date' with temporary requests ending on the 'end forwarding date'. An extension to the end date of a temporary request is only obtainable if the request for the extension is made prior to the end forwarding date. Permanent requests expire after 6 months, per USPS® guidelines.
Any edits to a change of address request must be made prior to the end forwarding date if the change is to have any effect. Certain edits to a request may necessitate a cancellation of the current request and resubmission of another to accommodate.
If there is already an active address change request for your address and name that was not placed by PostalChanges.com, we do not have access to cancel that request and are not able to submit an additional request until the original is either cancelled or expired. It is the responsibility of the User to ensure that any active change of address requests are cancelled so that we may process the new request through PostalChanges.com. If we cannot schedule an address change request because there is an existing one, PostalChanges.com will not be held responsible in any way for not scheduling such a request.
PostalChanges.com is only a service provider. We do not handle any physical items for customers nor are we in any way responsible for physically forwarding mail. We only assist in placing or guiding users with their address change requests. As such, we are not responsible for any non-delivery of items or mail forwarding issues. Should any issues arise, please contact your local post office.
CANCELLATION OF AN ACCOUNT
To cancel an account, users should reference the “Contact Us” page to find the best way to contact us and inform of us of a cancelation request. Please refer to the Refunds section for further details on our refund policy. Once an account with PostalChanges.com has been cancelled, we are not required to provide any further service or take any further action on your behalf. This includes cancelling any address change requests that may have been processed while the account was open.
Users requesting a cancellation of a change of address request without requesting refund are deemed to be requesting a cancellation of an address change request only, and not a cancellation of their account with PostalChanges.com.
Upon the User’s request, PostalChanges.com will make commercially reasonable efforts to contact various third parties in an effort to cancel or discontinue their services and/or communication to the User. However, we don't guarantee successful notification and we aren't responsible for the actions or omissions of the third parties we contact on behalf of Users.
PostalChanges.com reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice. As set forth in detail below, you agree that PostalChanges.com shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, failure or discontinuance of the Services.
USER AUTHORIZATION
By accessing the Website and using the Services in any way, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the conditions of these Terms. In addition, when using the Website and its Services, you agree to abide by any applicable posted guidelines for all PostalChanges.com Services, which may change from time to time, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Should you object to any of the terms or conditions of these Terms, any guidelines, or any subsequent modifications thereto or become dissatisfied with PostalChanges.com in any way, you should immediately discontinue use of the Website. These Terms will remain in full force and effect as long as you are a user of the Website and in the event of termination of any membership, service or feature, you will still be bound by your obligations under these Terms, including any indemnifications, warranties and limitations of liability.
You agree that by using this service you are at least 18 years of age and you are legally able to enter into a contract. You also represent that you have the capacity to be bound by it or, if you're acting on behalf of a person or entity, that you have the authority to bind such person or entity to it. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this website. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms. Nevertheless, PostalChanges.com reserves the right, at any time, to change the Terms by publishing notice of such changes on the Website. Any use of the Services by you after PostalChanges.com's publication of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of these Terms, as modified.
You agree that PostalChanges.com is permitted to access and use any information you provided to us for any reason relating to the Service that we deem appropriate.
You understand and agree that we may review and delete any content that you provide, including messages, identifiers, company names or profiles that in our sole judgment violates this Agreement, or that may be offensive, illegal, inaccurate or that may violate the rights of others.
By using PostalChanges.com's Services, you authorize PostalChanges.com to act as your authorized agent to file documents on your behalf and agree to all terms of service related to this postal service. For address change requests to the USPS®, you agree that you must be acting on your own behalf or you must be the person, executor, guardian, authorized officer, or agent of the person for whom mail would be forwarded under this order. You certify that you understand that submitting false or inaccurate information on this form is subject to punishment by fine or imprisonment or both under Sections 2, 1001, 1702 and 1708 of Title 18, United States Code. You also agree to allow up to 7 working days for the USPS® to process your change of address once we have submitted the request.
PostalChanges.com will attempt to complete the address change and any other requests, while acknowledging that the request is not guaranteed due to factors outside of our control. As such, while PostalChanges.com will attempt to make every reasonable effort to perform the services put forth, we will not be held liable in cases where requests are not successful.
For marketing list and other opt-out requests, you must be the person for whom the opt-out request is made and you must reside at the postal address for which suppression or opt-out is requested. If you're acting on behalf of someone else, you must first have the person’s express, written authorization. PostalChanges.com will not be responsible or liable for unauthorized requests.
You may terminate this Agreement and your account with PostalChanges.com at any time and for any reason by notifying us. We may terminate this Agreement with you, terminate your account, and elect not to implement our Services for you at any time and for any reason, effective upon sending notice to you at the email address you provided for your account.
You agree and understand that you're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access information. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account information, you must notify us immediately.
You're only entitled to access the Site and use the Services for lawful purposes. You shall provide true, accurate, current and complete information, and you shall not misrepresent your information or use or input on the Site any other person’s information without their express written consent. Any fraudulent activity will be reported to federal authorities for prosecution.
PRICING & REFUNDS
Prices posted on the Website represent the fees which are payable to PostalChanges.com for your use of the Services.
Your submission of any payment information (including, but not limited to credit card information) constitutes your authorization for PostalChanges.com to charge your card for the services ordered. You agree to abide by the terms of your card issuer's agreement.
All address change Services are subject to a 100% satisfaction guarantee. PostalChanges.com will refund anyone requesting an account cancellation within 30 days of initial payment if you're not satisfied with your membership and the Services rendered. Refunds can often take three to ten business days from the date the refund was processed to appear on your credit statement.

This site and all information or Services provided through this site, are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty or conditions of any kind, and we cannot guarantee and do not promise any specific results from use of this site. PostalChanges.com strives to keep its forms and documents accurate, current and up-to-date. However, we cannot guarantee that all of the government forms or information on the Website are correct, complete or up to date. PostalChanges.com makes no representations, warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, safety or completeness of the content on the site or of the services. If you decide to use the Services, you do so at your own discretion and risk.

We will not be liable for any incidental, direct, indirect, punitive, actual, consequential, special, exemplary, or other damages, including, but not limited to the loss of revenue or income, pain and suffering, emotional distress, or similar damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will the collective liability of us and our subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors, service providers, content providers, employers, officers, directors, and agents to any person or party (regardless of the form of the action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount that you have actually paid to PostalChanges.com for the applicable contents or services out of which liability arose.
DISPUTES
If there is any claim, controversy or dispute at law or equity about this Agreement, the Site and/or the Services, you agree that you and we'll resolve any claim in accordance with this paragraph. This Agreement will be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of New York, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. With respect to any disputes or claims, you acknowledge and understand that exclusive jurisdiction over any cause of action arising out of this Agreement or the Services shall be in the state or federal courts located in or near New York City, NY. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of such courts and you hereby waive all defenses of lack of personal jurisdiction.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us, our subsidiaries, affiliates, and licensors and their respective, directors, members, officers, agents, partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of this Site, Content or Materials in violation of this Agreement and/or arising from a breach of this Agreement and/or any dispute you may have with another User on the Site and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above. SEVERABILITY
Any provision of this Agreement which is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction shall, as to that jurisdiction, be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability, without affecting in any way the remaining provisions hereof in such jurisdiction or rendering that or any other provision of this Agreement invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any other jurisdiction.
AMENDMENTS
PostalChanges.com may without advance notice amend these Terms from time to time, and will do so by posting the new Terms on the Website in place of the old. It's your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes and the most current version of the Terms of Use will supersede all previous versions. Each and every such amendment shall be become effective immediately upon posting to the Site and your continued usage of the Site will mean you accept those changes, including for all pre-existing accounts.
